Where My Friends went (continued) ...
When my friends travel, all I get is a postcard.
But they all know that I treasure them.

Catie O'Leary purchased this postcard at the Louvre during her recent trip to Paris.
It's by Eugene Delacroix, a 19th century painter whom I admire.

My artist friend, Margaret Gaynes, made two trips lately. The first was to Wisconsin to visit family. While there she decided to check out some of the quirkier sites, like Kohler's bathroom museum in Sheboygan. Can you imagine a bluer bathroom? Then she was off to New Mexico, where she found this remarkable blue door. Lovely!

Caiti also sent me this wonderful water color postcard from the Saint Cirq Lapopie.
I especially love painted postcards.
(Remember: A painted postcard is different from a postcard of a painting.)

And finally, my good friend Carol Delockroy sent me this postcard from Portland, Oregon, my hometown. She reminded me that we had dinner some years ago at the restaurant pictured in the foreground of this card. I do remember it. And the Willamette River looks better than ever.
