My Wild Irish Nose
My Wild Irish Nose, The cause of all my woes. My neighbors make sport 'Cause it didn't stay short Like a real Irish nose. I swear the thing still grows Just like Pinocchio's. But I've ne'er told a lie And I don't know why I'm cursed with this metamorphose. I'd gladly juxtapose With Freddy or Ambrose So my pride won't get hurt When no one will flirt 'Cause of my bulbous nose. At Christmas time my nose Holds tinsel, lights and bows; And friends gather 'round And dance to the sound Of tunes blown on My Wild Irish Nose! |
